How hard is this?

Replicating what Dan Kaminsky did is very difficult to do because one should first have a lot of knowledge about it. Dan Kaminsky hacked through the DNS with his own knowledge and idea (Not like us, we were guided to do this). He has technical knowledge about a lot of things concerning computer, internet, network, etc. He knows the way around it giving him a lot of confidence about what things will or might happen.

For me, it is difficult because i'm not that too familiar with things concerning networking (IP Address, etc.) and other things required to do it. I'm also not that experienced enough to tweak around things especially the computer i'm using right now (The computer is widely used by our family). Also, getting something free that should have payment is wrong and affects one's values or ethics in life. But, we don't know. Things change...
